Joe Rykert (tenor) has been an accomplished professional singer for many years. The late Buck Townsend, founder, Townsend Opera Players was his personal voice coach for 15 plus years. He has been teaching privately for the past two years. Joe has performed in numerous Operas and Musicals and for numerous special events throughout Northern California over the past 30 plus years. Joe has sung for many dignitaries over the years, one of his favorites was singing for the 90th birthday party of Ernest Gallo in his home. When George Bush Sr. swung thru Modesto - Joe was a featured soloist. Barbara Bush was here for a special event - Joe was the soloist. When Govenor Deukmejian was in Modesto for a special event Joe was the featured soloist. Needless to say...Joe has a lot of experience.
